Anyone else ITT apply for the Law Scholars awards?

I did, my LSAT is at the 75th and my GPA is between 50th and 75th (but with a solid upward grade trend- all 4.0s after freshman year so fingers crossed mayyybe that'll help me??)

I love Vanderbilt and Nashville so if I were to get one of the law scholars awards it would absolutely seal the deal for me. It has pretty much been my 11:11 wish every day since I applied

Edit: Zip it sounds like you put a lot more length into your app than I did. I submitted mine before visiting the school and realizing it was my top choice...now I'm kicking myself wishing I had spent more time on it

I would think you'll get at least 110k at first. I didn't get law scholar as my initial award, and it seems that a lot of the awards are given out in April, so hold out for it if you really want it.

Yup, I did. Atm I'm very set on Duke, but receiving a full ride to Vanderbilt would most definitely sway me.

Just submitted the Law Scholars Application! (hurray for soft deadlines and grace periods!) Here's hoping. My responses were 5 1/2 pages...hopefully that isn't crazy long.

I have that too! Hopefully it's scholarship info, but this seems early for them to do that.

They recently sent out an e-mail saying they'd be mailing a Career Services Brochure to admitted students so it's probably just that.

I have a delivery waiting for me at my apartment that is a medium envelope so I'm guessing that's the brochure because I haven't ordered anything

So I think I figured it out. All the mailing dates without a description correspond to the days I received admitted student updates from the school. So I think they're just e-mails!

According to last year's thread it came via snail mail during the last week of February.
