It does seem really weird because haven't you had a ton of success with full ride offers from other schools? Are there any named scholarships still going out? Maybe that's the reason.

Nope, nothing. I got invited to apply for the Wilson, but I explained to them I had some other stuff going on with school and would not be able to apply by the deadline and they said I would be considered for other merit offers.

None taken. I'm not upset I didn't get anything, just surprised that they shut me down for everything.

Maybe this has been answered (if so, sorry). What's the deal with regular merit aid at Penn? I did not get invited to apply for of their named schollies and I just got my aid notification email mentioning that I did not qualify for need-based (didn't expect to). However, there was no mention of any other aid at all (even saying $0 of merit aid), does this mean there is a small chance for merit aid at another time? Or am I faced with attending Penn at sticker?

Hoping that my registering to visit during ASW means they're recalculating my offer to a full ride due to demonstrated interest.

I got a hotel room a block or two from the one in which they had rooms reserved - not exactly a cheap weekend to be in Philly, apparently, but I got a better deal than what they were offering.
