Any intel on Ramirez or Douglas?
Have only heard good things about Douglas as a person and as a legal mind (apparently she’s very funny)
Odd--heard the opposite, which was consistent with personal experience with material from her chambers.
Do you mean personally or as a legal mind (or both)?

Does anybody have info on Kyle Duncan? What he's like as a boss, selectivity, etc.--anything. Thanks!

Worked with a former clerk, graduated magna from a T14 (not HYSC) within recent memory. The clerk spoke fondly of the experience and chambers, but he also had a poor reputation in the office work-wise and interpersonally.

Anyone have info on Ho's application process (grade-sensitivity, timeline, etc.)? And also what he's like to work for? I have heard he screens mainly for ideological fit and hires from a pretty broad range of schools.

He doesn't care about grades and hires exclusively based on recommendations. He's a pretty great boss from all accounts but obviously you have to be an ideological fit.

Damn. And I'd bet he doesn't trust many law profs, so I'm guessing the recommenders are often outside the law school bubble.

he usually hires two clerks a year from UChicago and two from other schools. Not very grade-sensitive.

Looking for info on Ho's hiring process. Is he very competitive? Any insight into what the interview is like?

Edit: I see now that this has already been discussed a bit. Would welcome any additional info though!

I have noticed that most Willett clerks clerked elsewhere beforehand--often on SCOTEX. Anyone know if Willett actually *requires* a first clerkship, or is it more like WE of some kind is the expectation?
