It's equally likely that the Alito clerks haven't revealed their names or that Lat hasn't found out.

Don't read anything into it. Alito always asks his future clerks to keep their hirings close to the chest, so word of them spreads slower.

New Lat list! Not a lot that's new. A great year for Chicago, and notably great feeding performances from Pryor, Sutton, Chhabria, and Friedrich.

A lot of OT26 hiring is done, and it looks like several justices have dipped into OT27 as well.

I heard a rumor that the SCOTUS clerkship bonuses are now between 700 and 800 grand. Can anyone verify that? It seems like an awfully sharp jump from 500 grand a few years ago.
