Tell me about it. I filled it out for Northwestern first and right when I was about to pay for it I realized that I should just go ahead and add all the other schools I was applying to. And since each school as their own little questions that they sneak in there I had to basically go through the whole application again checking line by line to see what boxes that I "missed." When I finally was ready I realized that I missed just ONE more school and when I saw that 100% complete drop to 82% complete without any indication where all the "missing" boxes were I was ready to kick a dog.

Hey all! I'm AJD, but I'm really hoping to be at Northwestern in May!

For the AJD program, I would be moving to Chicago probably around May 10th (give or take a week). How far in advance can I / should I start looking for an apartment? I want to live in one of the cheaper neighborhoods (not streeterville). When does spring semester end for students? I assume I will be there too early to sublet for the summer and find a place in the fall.

If I remember correctly, it started about 8:30am or something both days. Various large group presentations (welcome, financial aid, clerkships, public interest, international study opportunities, etc.), sitting in on an actual class, a mock class only with 0L admits, small groups with current students, campus and area tour, and a ticket to see Wigmore Follies.

Anything more specific than that?

That's helpful. I currently live in Chicago, nearby the school but an old friend wants to visit that weekend. I can probably make all of Friday, but wanted to know what Saturday schedule was like to see what I could skip/how long it goes. Thanks for the insight! Friday is definitely a full day and evening (plus people usually go out after Wigmore) of activities, but I want to say Saturday ended some time in the early afternoon both of the last 2 years. Someone else can correct me if I'm wrong.

I know, I know, but I've spent enough time at NU by now that I already know what's up. I've never ventured to the South Side to see if the rumors are true, so I figured I owed them at least that much.

Thats fair. Being from the Southside I feel no need to explore it. At least come take a tour/talk to us when you're in town!
