It was from my TA. Right edits he sent the syllabus, I'm sure the rest of the TAs will email out their info/info about the party today or tomorrow. It basically just said we are having a party at a law firm in time square Tuesday night.

So my peer mentor told me today that Legal Methods with Bobbitt is basically a three-week cocktail party; he is by far the most easy-going LM instructor. I think that party may just be for his section.jetissent wrote:It was from my TA. Yeah I heard that too, so lucky! Unfortunately, I have one of the teachers that has a huge assignment due on the first day.

We have 3 class parties, multiple guest speakers (CoA judge, former solicitor general, David Lat from Above the Law, etc), the mixer at Covington and for the most part only 10-20 pages of readings a day.
This dude sounds insanely chill.

Yeah I've heard really good things. I'm excited. Just gotta get that suit!
Also, my peer mentor's said last year the t-shirts were actually class hoodies and that they are usually late, so maybe they are still coming.

When we deposited the 600 for our seat, don't we get that back? I don't see it anywhere on the first bill

Weird, mine doesn't show that at all! I guess I'll call the office tomorrow and see what's upjetissent wrote:icedflames wrote:When we deposited the 600 for our seat, don't we get that back? I don't see it anywhere on the first bill

ETA: nevermind, it wasn't on the last statement, but it shows up on current charges. I'll just pay the current charge amount instead of the one listed on the statement

No. I've been watching as well. I don't want to go and talk to financial aid and seem pushy, but the whole thing does make me vaguely uneasy.Bronck wrote:Anyone get their direct deposit funds yet? This is the 3rd business day for me since the email.. and still nothing as of ~10am.

I've talked to a handful of people and they've said the same thing. I guess tomorrow marks the 5th business day for me. Want those funds soon...hibiki wrote:No. I've been watching as well. Mine deposited today. (except for the insurance portion as I was a little slow in waiving that) I'd expect yours soon.Bronck wrote:I've talked to a handful of people and they've said the same thing. Wow this thread's been dead. I think everyone's probably been having too much fun.
I'm pretty sure someone who posts here wore a thomas cooley School of Law sweat shirt to my Legal Methods class on Friday.
