Rate my professor has ratings for the law school. Some of them are more reviewed than others though.

agreed, i tried rate my professors but it just isnt the same as UG, any NYU law rankings out there?

Try the compare prices tool. Mine didn't show up in the regular search. One of my classes still isn't up, but the rest were there.

1) If a supplement (like an E&E or something along those lines) is "required" for a class, do you think it's ok to use an old edition? I have a few hand-me-downs that are an edition old, and I'm hoping to not have to pay for something I (basically) already have

2) What are people's thoughts about renting? Obviously it's much cheaper, but is it a good idea? or should I just spring for the used copy?

I don't have an answer for #1 but I basically asked the same thing in the "ask an NYU 3L" forum (http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 6#p5802906) and the consensus seems to be that you're probably fine renting if you want to unless you highlight a lot. I'm probably renting...
