The form requires our student ID, which I can't remember being notified of. But I found mine by logging into CAESAR, and under Main Menu, there's an option to 'View My Student ID'

You posted the link to the wrong form. That is for healthcare, non-med school students. This is the correct form- http://www-chicago.nuhs.northwestern.ed ... health.pdf (found from here http://www.law.northwestern.edu/orientation/jd.html. This is from last year, are they going to update it for this year soon?)

Anybody looked into the actual move yet? I'm trying to figure out whether it makes sense to rent a car, throw all my stuff in it, and drive out there (surprisingly expensive), or to just look into having a company do it and then flying out. Never done a cross country move like this, I feel like I'm in the deep end a little too soon, most of my moves have been extremely local and when I had a car.

Are there other things we need to get done? I'm leaving the country mid June-August 1. Sent an email letting them know that, asking for any paperwork I should do before I go, but haven't heard back at all. Don't really want them to not let me attend because of missing paperwork...

At some point there will be loan stuff to do. No idea when.

This might be a question to ask the current students in the other thread, since we (your fellow 0Ls) are as clueless as you.

All I can find is the AJD pre-matriculation guide.

There are no (nor will there ever be any) 'funtimes' that can be alluded to in a situation like this, so don't worry about it

SEcret tip: Almost all the "deadlines" are really, really flexible. Like a lot of people turned in their health forms at orientation. Whoever's going to be traveling, I'd email the finaid and admissions office with a heads up, so then you're covered if you're away during a deadline. Nothing too crazy. I was abroad until just before school started, and I was able to do all the necessary paperwork in an hour on a public computer.
