Unique Recruiting situation + poor grades Forum

Hi all,
Wanted to get some other people’s perspectives on my current situation. I’m a 1L at a T14 that places very well in big law. I targeted mainly a city that’s a less competitive legal market but still one I’d be happy working in and I have very strong ties to. Due to my narrow targeting, I’ve landed multiple interview rounds with the two main big law offices in the city prior to grade release. Interviews went great and was subsequently invited to multiple firm dinners and events (one of the firms even covered my gas and meals for one of the callbacks).

Now that grades are released, I found out that I am well under median. Will this bomb my chances with these firms or will my previous good impressions and ties be enough to push me over?
