So, here's an update: 32 (wow!) of you guys signed up to meet-up this week in the Big Apple.
I am in the process of making arrangements so that we can all meet on Thursday.

Ok, so after all the CLS bashing I have to call Nyu out on something. At cls I never heard anyone even mention Nyu unless asked, but at Nyu I heard a ton of cls bashing. It really felt Nyu had a complex or something.

Other than that it was a good experience. Two very different schools with very different approaches.

I disagree - I didn't hear anyone at either school bring the other name up unless asked , and to be fair I did a lot of cls bashing cuz I has such a bad time. The faculty at each spoke very highly of the other when asked. Everyone seemed to agree that nyu is better for pi than cls, even a cls faculty member

A 2L claimed around 73% found employment through EIW and around 85% of the class participated.

Today was a good sell for NYU, yesterday was lackluster.

Current students and faculty. It wasn't too bad, but it was present.

They gave out really thin gray t-shirts compressed into the shape of hockey pucks.

Yeah they gave out some lame tshirt - that was about it.

Edit: oh the student clubs gave out some stuff to at their tables, I believe. I didn't really go to those, though

I definitely felt some of the inferiority complex, but I don't know how much of that was due to the Law Revue being taken out of context. They definitely sold it well on the second day as a fun place to be. Maybe it was the booze, or maybe it was the nearness, but I heard several people leaning strongly towards NYU over CLS, self-selection I guess.

I didn't really hear any CLS bashing besides Law Revue, which can't really be taken to mean much since it is a satirical show. Otherwise, no one really brought it up besides other admitted students. I thought NYU did a great job putting together a wonderful ASW...and I say this as someone who had previously totally dismissed NYU as an option. I could definitely see myself going there, depending how well they can compete with money offers from peer schools. Also, hi MST!

I definitely didn't hear any CLS bashing outside of law revue. I talked to quite a few current students and it seems like a lot of them were debating between CLS and NYU. So I very highly doubt there's much of a problem there since people had the choice of going to CLS.

I got a four day extension, so thankfully I don't have to decide the SAME DAY I get my Columbia package. Other people only got one day though...
