Thanks. I've started to apply to Algonquin but I realize I could save a good amount by having a roommate so that's why I'm headed in this direction. That's good to know about Regents. Are there any other advantages/disadvantages to either of them?

Location is a wash because they're across the street from each other. Regents has the big community of 1Ls which for me is a negative (but for many is a positive). Regents two bedrooms have two full bathrooms, whereas Algonquin only has one bathroom total, a big downside for me. I think price is pretty similar. Regents gym you have to pay for after three months, Algonquin is free. Regents has central heat/AC, Algonquin does not.

Algonquin gym is complete shit. Do not take it into consideration. There were like 3 cardio machines and not a single free weight. I think the room was carpeted, too.

What a bummer... Know of any place that
1) welcomes pets
2) has stainles steel appliances and granite counter tops
3) is close to campus
4) has a nice gym
5) has central heat/ac

There are also sites like padmapper where you can do your own research for places that fit your specifications.

Ratner isn't THAT far from the law school. I walked to it during ASW.

On a different note, if I get a 0 on my final paper (that is not turn it in) I get a C in this class. So you can imagine the difficulty I'm having finding motivation knowing that a 50% will give me a B in the class. Someone inspire me.

Just a heads up in case any of you have not experienced first hand the American Apparel difference. Here is the size chart:

S 0-2
M 4-6
L 6-8
XL 8-10
2XL 10-12
Comments: This shirt is fitted and runs petite. We recommend ordering one size up.

This chart reflects what I have experienced with their shirts... always a little startling to see 2XL is a 10...

I went with XL. Picking that was WEIRD.

I think that XL might be overcompensating for you guys... I went with large and feel ok about it. We'll see though I guess. They won't shrink if you don't put them in heat...
