Have you guys sent in Dean's cert? Apparently it has to be in by June or we forfeit our spot.

I'm mailing out my lease tomorrow though
http://www.ppmhomes.com/ is my landlord and has some nice places (mine is still up though I'm obviously not saying which one).
I've been looking for a couple months now though.
Also: Anyone else send the second deposit and now hear from them yet/ not have it cashed yet?

That should be like a 10 minute walk in the snow, at the most.Arbiter213 wrote:Yah I know. I got one in Collegetown, ~.4 miles from Myron Taylor Hall.mths wrote: Keep in mind that places by the commons are FAR

Wondering about the online loan signing process - anyone else dealt with this yet?
Edit: Guess not then.
But I did hear back from the financial aid office that we would be getting info about the loan documents in the next couple of weeks. I suppose they are waiting for 2nd seat deposit confirmations. By the way, I had an email confirming my 2nd deposit has arrived. One step closer... Very exciting

What is a Dean's Cert and when do we have to send it in?
I've been seeing rumblings about it... but I have no idea what one is or how to get one.

Have your university's dean fill it out and send it in by June 15.

They sent the housing packet to my permanent address. I'm still in school for another month. Fail.

I already have my lease signed and did the info online. More a matter of principle- they did the same thing with my admitted students info back in December.mths wrote:you can find most of it onlineArbiter213 wrote:They sent the housing packet to my permanent address. This may be too late, but just to prove Hughes ain't so bad:

For the price, you're not going to get much better. Although, if you're someone who needs a kitchen, this may not be the place for you (52 people, one kitchen). And, it does look like it hasn't been updated since the late 80s. On the other hand, I wore flip flops to class in the middle of winter and I've woken up at 10:00am for a 10:10am class. And it may not be too late because I was on the wait-list for Hughes at this time last year and got a spot.

Looks like I might need to buy a chair... those don't look comfy at all. Which size room is that?spaacecdt wrote:This may be too late, but just to prove Hughes ain't so bad:

Hughes has the same shitty dorm furniture as my UG dorm. Glad I got an apartment.

The room is a "large." That being said, I know people with "regular" rooms that are the same size as mine, "large" rooms that are significantly larger than mine, and "large" rooms significantly smaller than mine.

Haha yeah me too. Nearly every link they sent in that checklist e-mail is either broken or outdated. :S My solution thus far is just to ignore those things and hope they go away...
