T3 7%. I wouldn't worry too much, I was told the majority of their decisions weren't coming until after the deadline (today) and that most people would find out on the same day.

When they decide to tell me, I guess. I think they are trying to figure out who is staying and who is going - to decide how many people to take from the write on competition. They already sent invitations to people in the top 10%.

Once the Admissions Committee begins the review process and a decision is made, we will notify you via postal mail. We cannot release decisions over the phone or by email.

Once the Admissions Committee begins the review process and a decision is made, we will notify you via postal mail. We cannot release decisions over the phone or by email.

I also got that email. But USC sent my acceptance via email as well. I'm surprised how quickly USC's decision came since all my apps went complete around the same time. I've only heard back from 3 other schools, having applied to 20.

I applied to UCLA/USC/Berkeley. in at LA - still waiting on berkeley (our grades were released pretty late)

yeah I was surprised to receive an email as well - guess they changed their mind

in case anyone was wondering, USC gave me 6 days to respond and requires a $750 seat deposit. early OCI is 8/9-12 with a registration deadline of 7/16, although they say they make every effort to accommodate transfers admitted late. mandatory orientation 8/18. I'll be declining - good luck to all who are waiting!

UCI notified me by U.S. mail. I think UCI is looking for something extremely particular. E.g., unless you have a successful background in a certain area and can link it to how UCI will help you further corresponding goals or have an extremely colorful past/resume, I don't think you will get into UCI, even with top grades.

Yeah. UCI is being extremely cautious and trying to make a big splash in rankings, etc. in the next year or so.

Applied: Berkeley and Stanford
Accepted to and attending Berkeley.
Withdrawing from Stanford before getting a decision (they couldn't get it to me in time to beat Berkeley's deadline).
