I've heard we have quite a bit of reading for Orientation. Where are people finding that information?

Same! I'm a sucker for animals and outdoorsy stuff and I figured the odds strongly favored being railroaded into manual labor anyway, so I put it as my #2.

It's on mylaw. And I wouldn't say "quite a bit" -- from my short glance, it looked like c. 15pg .pdfs, one or two for Weds, Thurs, and Fri.

I haven't gotten mine but I know a few others got theirs. Maybe they're going out incrementally?

Sounds like it, didn't get mine yet either. Obviously our alumni are busy pulling strings in order to make reservations at the finest of restaurants.

I can't complain. Law school is a lot of work, but you can still have fun and do decently well.

I'm in the middle of oci, which is crazy when I think that I wasn't even planning on starting school until next week.

Afternoon. Is anyone seeing syllabi and assignments up for their classes yet? I've seen the orientation reading schedule, but nothing for actual coursework. Seemed unlikely that I was 5 for 5 on classes with no info.

Im in section A11- Norwood and Greenfield both have their syllabi and assignments up. I assume ne1 with these professors has homework already. For Greenfield, his course extras should be available starting tomorrow with his secretary Room 541A.

Went drinking/karaokeing with some buddies last night in Maplewood. The margaritas caught me off guard and I ended up giving them back to the porcelain God. Note to self and fellow lightweights: they don't mess around with their drinks in St. Louis.

I'm A11, and just read that Norwood has a "no laptop" policy. I was hoping to avoid this.

No, just kidding. (I hope.) I did, however, go out and buy a suit today for Monday. I was really hoping to be able to put off that purchase until, say, October. Such is life.
