wow, kinda dead around this thread.. I am going to have a get-together at my place oriented to Non-trads, ie my kids and others will be there. You don't have to have kids or be a non-trad to come (I hope others will come), but just so you know. I'll provide some fixins (non meat food) a grille, great atmosphere and you bring BYOB&B. Im looking at Sunday the 15th at our place in Gville- startin at 4pm....until people want to leave. if anyone is interested msg me.

Is poker going to be involved??

Did everyone get the email about holds because I checked and I didnt have any holds; yet, UF sent me an email about it. >shrugs<

I got the same email and also thought I didn't have any holds because under my “Hold section” was blank. Then I went under the “Registration” tab and filled the registration prep form. At this point, I got a second email confirming that I no longer had a hold. So make sure U fill that out because it won’t show under the “Hold Section”. Hope this helps

Well... its like this. Its gonna be all business in a few short weeks, so i thought something to get people together would be fun. I think we've got a decent place to entertain. like I said on FB, if we get enough, I'll buy the beer (keg).... Its really no big deal - everyone should come. -if nothing else to size up the competition

Has anyone received their Fin Aid Packages yet? I know they said that we will receive the fin aid info in mid-July, but they are cutting it pretty close.

Mine hasn't been processed either. I'm ok as long as they process my refund in a timely manner.

I suggest everyone sign up for direct deposit if you haven't already. UF is notoriously slow when it comes to mailing checks, but the direct deposit is always right on time.

What do you mean? I don't have my 2010-11 fin aid awards yet, but there is a popup that should tell you that.

I am super excited for all the incoming 1Ls. I am probably just as excited as y'all to find out your sections, just to see who is getting professors I had.

Personally, I think Section 3 is getting a good deal this year.
