Top Law Schools

Those of you who have done this, how did you go about it? I've already mailed all the firms in my home market that I know do summer programs but didn't come to NYU. For small/midsize firms that don't advertise summer programs, do you call? Just go ahead and mail? And who did you mail to if they don't list anyone as a recruiter/hiring manager?

Any help on this is appreciated.
