After a COA clerkship for a highly regarded judge, I've spent a few years in a biglaw Supreme Court & Appellate practice, where I've gotten to do substantive work at the summary judgment, trial, appeal, cert., and merits stages. (Not so much fact discovery.)
I'm curious about plaintiff-side FTCA work, as it seems likely to be more challenging than your average tort practice, and I've so far enjoyed government-related work from both sides of the v.
Who's doing it? What's the day-to-day like? Are there people who focus on law-and-motion work? Any particular avenues in?
