What credentials does an H/Y/S applicant need to have a realistic shot at CDCA AUSA's office or OLP through DOJ honors?

What I’ve heard from connections to current and former senior AUSAs in that office: they are not significantly lowering their hiring standards despite the reduced interest around the current admin, which is why they have many vacancies still. Normal competitive AUSA district qualifications apply (top school, clerkship(s), big law or DA experience, ties to office, etc.).

Agreed. We are just getting a much smaller applicant pool and trying to wait for the right candidate to come along.
