How to Ask Firm About Signing Bonus
I've already accepted my return offer from a V20 firm, and am currently in the middle of a clerkship. The firm recently rejected my request to transfer (for family reasons) my offer to a different office, so I already feel like I'm maybe on the wrong foot with them. The last I heard, my firm was still on the 50k/75k clerkship scale, not the recently announced 125k/150k Cravath scale. How do I reach out to ask if they plan to match the new clerkship bonus scale?
