Ooooooh just read it. That is so mean! It is a little scary about the congeniality thing, but to be honest, people here are NICER than anywhere! I mean they go out of their way to be nice. Like, I was auditioning for Habeas Chorus, and everyone (who keep in mind hasn't known me for more than like, 6 days since I came out of my shell) I mentioned that to was like, "oh you're going to do so well I bet you'll be great!" Also people have offered me outlines, and notes, and don't seem sketch about it at all. Although i ABHOR Chicago, I do love Northwestern...

Day-of bump. I've already e-mailed most of you, but TLSers I don't know IRL are welcome to come. It'll be worth it just to meet doyleoil in person, trust me.rayiner wrote:Small get-together at my place on Saturday to welcome Dresden Doll to Chicago. Anyone interested PM me for details.

That ploy only works if doyleoil was actually able to come.rayiner wrote:Day-of bump. I've already e-mailed most of you, but TLSers I don't know IRL are welcome to come. Our spring break is two weeks?! Awesome. Is it like that at all/most other law schools?

How about some opinions on SFPIF? Doesn't seem like a worthwhile "deal" to me... I volunteer WAY more than 10 hours a semester, but because of that I don't have time for committee stuff...

Re: Northwestern 2012
This "real city" thing is grating on me. I miss my cookie-cutter (read: predictable and uniform in quality, availability, and price) purveyors of goods and services...
I'm wandering around Chicago looking for a place to get a haircut that doesn't require an appointment and takes plastic and getting frustrated. I'd kill for a Great Clips or Hair Cuttery...
