UCLA late drops- will it be counted as an F for LSAC GPA? Forum

UCLA late drops- will it be counted as an F for LSAC GPA?

So I'm a 4th year undergrad at UCLA, and our school does not give Ws at all. When we drop courses past a certain deadline (week 4), we get a transcript notation that says "dropped- week X". I currently have a 3.99 LSAC GPA but I am worried about this one class and I'm considering dropping it. However, it is about to be week 9 so I have to use a late drop, which is a drop we get 3 times our whole time here as a student. I've yet to use a late drop. This drop will not affect my UC GPA. I'm wondering if this will somehow get recalculated by LSAC as an F?

It honestly depends. If it comes out as a Fail/F, then yes it will affect your LSAC GPA, if it comes out as a Pass W then no it shouldn't

Hey did you end up dropping the class and did it have any impact on your UGPA?
