Help Length

Post by Anonymous User » Wed Oct 21, 2020 8:16 pm

Majority of schools ask for the personal statement not to exceed two double spaced pages but what if the personal statement is about 2 pages, just need 2 more sentences to be full 2 pages...
does that matter?

Don't worry, it's okay if it's not exactly 2 pages. Some law schools just don't want you to exceed 2 pages.

If you just need two more sentences, I can pretty much guarantee that you can edit it down to get those sentences onto the second page.

If you are two sentences short of two full pages, then that's fine. If you have two sentences that flow onto a third page, then obviously you should edit down so that the third page isn't needed.

When in doubt, I tend to default to the above. Others may disagree.
