Ok, I will give you baseball, basketball, hockey, even soccer for others. But I will not concede the Trojans! They are LA's pro-football team? Pfff, there's only one thing U$C's Trojans are good for.

I'm sorry, I just think this whole thing is funny, UCLA and USC pretending to have a real rivalry, even saying that it's the best and most hated rivalry..sorry, just cracks me up a bit. but it's fun watching you guys try to hate each other. it's cute even.

I come from Big Ten and Big 12 country, where we know what real rivalries look like, none of this contrived USC v. UCLA crap.
On a lighter note, since we're going to be together for three long years, why don't we explore the possibility of making it a dynasty league? 16 teams + dynasty league = crazy

I thought I had already said I wanted it to be a keeper league. I was thinking. You get 3 keepers, you can only keep 1 of your 1st or 2nd round picks, Next year, 16th place team picks 1st, etc. that way you can't completely hoard talent, but you get at least 1 of the top 32 players to hold onto. trust me, i've put some thought into this, mostly out of sheer boredom. Only 3 more owners need to join, then I can tape the lottery
haha

We've got a whole year to figure out the lottery specifics and keeper details, but I agree that it just makes sense for us to do a keeper league.

Set the keeper rules before the first draft, or griping will ensue.

Fair point. We should lay down the rules at or before the draft (and vote on them there).
As an aside, I found an apartment (yay!). Living on Washington St. in U-City/The Loop area, like five minutes from campus.

Congratumalations. I'll come up with 2 or 3 proposed keeper plans, and we can vote on the best one.

I guarantee that somewhere in the vast emptiness that is LA you can find a keeper football league. Call Bill Simmons

I couldn't hang out with Simmons....he'd be talking about what Hench said all the time. Couldn't take it.
You know what they do have in LA, though? Real baseball leagues - not softball. Baseball. It's worth it!

And when it's a hundred degrees in STL, it'll be seventy in LA. Ah, moderation.

Yeah, I'm an Okie, so I can deal with the heat as well. You're used to the humid heat, too. I'd rather deal with Arizona heat than southern heat.

In other news, I can't believe I just filled up a 16 team fantasy league that quickly. Pretty awesome guys (and girls). Get excited. The draft lottery is going to happen later this week (when my new laptop comes in which has a webcam haha
