Has this ever happened before, or am I just being neurotic? I am deciding between two schools (both are aware I have deposited with both of them), but was wondering about the likelihood of a school getting fed up and just taking the offer away?

I have almost never heard of this happening. The one exampleI I vaguely remember hearing about was when an applicant lied about a scholarship offer from another school. Don't lie in negotiations.carsondalywashere wrote:Good to know. Someone claimed this happened in a gtown threadcavalier1138 wrote:That doesn't happen.
As long as you don't lie or curse out the adcomm, you cannot lose by asking for more money.
