Fee waiver request how long to hear back? Forum

How long does it usually take to hear back from a fee waiver request? I emailed U of Colorado asking for a fee waiver last week and am getting impatient. Is it better to just submit or wait a bit?

I e-mailed five schools a week ago. Two answered within twenty-four hours. I still haven't heard back from the others; I wouldn't apply there even if they answered me now.

I wound up with a ton of fee waivers, but I didn't send emails.
I called the schools directly and just asked ---most of them just gave me the info over the phone or emailed me within 24 hrs.
