ED Duke or Chicago?

Post by Chris2002 » Sun Oct 13, 2024 5:36 pm

Hello all,

I am debating on whether or not to ED Duke or Chicago. I have a 3.94 GPA and a 169 LSAT (waiting on October score). I also have three internships in government as well as a year as a paralegal at a white-shoe firm in a niche litigation department. I would really like to secure a FC and then end up in DC litigation (aware that it is very competitive for any school). I also know UVA is good for these two things but I really do not think that I would enjoy Charlottesville, and I would prefer a smaller class size.

Do you think I have a shot at Chicago through ED or should I just hedge my bets on Duke? Appreciate any help or advice whatsoever.

Come back when you have your actual LSAT score.

Hi, I do have an LSAT score of 169! I am waiting on my second score. I was wondering if it would be worth it to ED UChicago with a 3.94/169?

Do any of the EDs come with scholarship monies? If not, I think you're likely better off just RD applying to all the T14 + a few T20s in whatever market you'd prefer to be in. If money isn't an issue, sure, ED to Chi.
