I'm really interested in both of them, however I have concerns regarding how Indiana places. Comments from current students regarding employment, both firm and federal, would be appreciated.

I'm not a current student, but I'll comment anyway.

I'm guessing you're total cost of attendance will be lower with Georgia unless you're an Indiana resident, and even then, it may still. I'm an Ohio resident, and three years at Georgia would cost me less than three years at OSU. Plus, Georgia places really well in Atlanta.

Also, it would appear that IU grads aren't really doing well ITE, since Indiana just announced they are going to start offering summer classes for rising 3Ls that would allow them to graduate in December. There must be a hell of a lot of IU students who can't find a summer job after 2L to justify doing that.

I'm fairly certain it's very easy to get Georgia residency after your first year so even if UGA doesn't give $, your tuition could drop to ~$15k after the first year.

This is true, and Georgia in-state is ~13k
